Do you plan on having your puppy around water? Lake, Swimming pool, on a boat…?
Do you have a fenced yard your puppy will be going out to use the bathroom? Or do you have to walk your puppy on a leash to use the bathroom?
What command would you like your puppy to learn when relieving him/herself? Examples: “take a break”; “go potty”; “do your business”
Do you have other dogs? Age? Breed? Sex?
Do you have stairs leading into your home that your puppy needs to learn how to use when going in and outside to relieve himself/herself?
Do you have a fenced yard? Is this where your puppy will be relieving themselves or will you need to take them for walks?
How long (hours) at most will you be leaving your puppy home alone?
What area do you live in? City? Country? Busy streets and sounds nearby or mostly a quiet, rural area? Please describe.
Do you have any physical or verbal limitations you would feel comfortable sharing (NOT REQUIRED)? If so, this is a great opportunity for your trainer to help teach your puppy to respond in a way unique to your situation. For example, if you have verbal limitations, we can work more on hand commands and have your pup become more solid on those vs verbal commands.
Do you plan to continue the crate training that your puppy will receive during training? Where do you plan on having him/her sleep? Examples, In a crate next to the bed, in a crate in another room, in your bed.
Please tell us about the pups exposure to children as in the childrens ages and how often the pup will be around them.
